Everyone at our Walk is an Alzheimer’s Advocate. Advocate volunteers encourage Walk participants to take action by signing postcards that raise awareness among our elected officials about the importance of Alzheimer’s research as well as care and support for those on the Alzheimer’s journey. You interact with the Walkers, asking participants to sign action cards that we then deliver to our members of Congress and share information about the Alzheimer's Impact Movement (AIM). AIM is the advocacy arm of the Alzheimer's Association, operating in Washington, D.C., Columbus and other state capitols across the country to make Alzheimer's a top priority for legislators and candidates.
